Stop poisoning your body, read the label

Why should you read the label? Because bad food causes 11 million deaths per year. Even products you purchase, thinking you will be healthier, have ingredients known to cause disease and death.

Your genes, environment, and your lifestyle impact your health. The easiest one for you to control is your lifestyle.

How often have you heard a doctor or someone else say, “Eat right.” What does that mean? You can start by avoiding the following:

  • Processed meats such as hotdogs, cold cuts, salami, and pepperoni are known carcinogens.
  • Oil and fats include canola, vegetable, trans fat (like margarine), hydrogenated fat, partially hydrogenated, and soybean oil.
  • High fructose corn syrup, fructose, dextrose, glucose, maltose, barley malt, maltodextrin, cane sugar, cane juice, mannose, sorghum syrup, and saccharose, to name a few. Many Americans are suffering from Fatty Liver. Do you know one of the causes? High fructose corn syrup, which you will find in EVERYTHING.
  • Preservatives such as Butylated hydroxytoluene or BHT is a carcinogens.
  • Artificial sweeteners damage the microbiome leading to increased obesity and diabetes.
  • Eat organic fruits and vegetables when possible.

Sleep is also essential. Get eight hours of sleep or listen to how much your body needs. Sleep impacts brain function, energy levels, the immune system, and overall well-being.
