Tea is a great alternative to coffee for its health benefits as well as having less caffeine. Tea has been used for centuries in alternative medicine to help with all types of ailments like weight loss, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, muscle endurance, lower risk of Parkinson's disease,and lower cholesterol. All tea is not alike. Each has its own aroma, taste, and healing properties. What do they have in common? Flavonoids (antioxidants), theanine, and antimicrobial qualities.

Die hard tea drinkers only recognize Oolong Tea, White Tea, Black Tea, and Green Tea, as true tea as they come from the Camellia sinensis plant. Here are some of their benefits:
